Pokhara

Pokhara is a remarkable and beautiful city of Nepal. It is situated in the Kaski district of Nepal. The city is surrounded by hills and mountains. It lies in the western region of Nepal.

Main Attractions

Politically, economically and geographically it is a valuable city. The Annapurna Mountan range and Machhapuchhre(Fishtail) Mountain are beautiful and offer attractive snowy views from the city. The Phewa Lake is the attraction of the city. Visitors can enjoy boating and worshiping in the lake and in the Barahi temple. There is another temple called Bindhyabasini in the city. Many people come here to worship and for praying.

Caves and Rivers

Mahendra cave and Bat cave are two natural places where tourists can experience going under ground. There are numerous bats inside the bat cave. Visitors are not allowed to tease and hit bats. Davi’s falls and Seti River are other tourism places of the city. Davi’s falls is named after the person called Davi who accidentally fell into the falls. Now, fences are built near the falls to reduce such type of accident. Seti River is a miraculous river that flows deep inside rocks. Only two feet distance can be seen on the top of the river but no one can imagine/say how wider at the bottom.
